Re-focused corporate Head Office delivers significant savings and world class management structure
Problem
The client, a Europe-based world supplier of production machinery for the FMCG sector, was in need of reviewing and updating its head office operations to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Approach
Clarus Consulting was approached to support a partner organisation in leading and delivering an organisational design programme over a period of 15 months, from Analysis & Design through to Delivery. The work focused on a full analysis of core and non-core operations, while seeking to optimise regulatory and market factors, such as tax implications, human resource availability, logistics and real estate costs.
Outcome
Following strong recommendation from the programme, the board signed off the proposed reorganisation of head office operations to be implemented under the leadership of Clarus and its partner organisation. The result was a refocus on core activities and outsourcing of support functions, leading to best-in-class corporate management and customer support, as well as significant cost savings.
